where can i get the trem port?

  • admin says:

It’s in the SVN repository and only compiles on Linux. It is unsupported and only for devs who are interested in porting Tremulous to XreaL.

If xreal would be capable to run MOHAA, it will be great for us (the mohaa gamers) and for xreal, because the great mohaa and WWII FPS comunity.

I don’t think you guys realize that Xreal cannot make ports for games that are under copyright. Just because ID released the source code for Q3A does not mean that every game ever made with the engine can be ported legally. Hats off to Xreal though. This engine seems to have a lot of promise for developers and gamers alike.

Yeah, it’s not possible to make ports of copyrighted games, but maybe it would be possible to realize a “clone” of this or that games, inside engine limitations, of course. Infact I heard that every id engine, as is, from quake I to quake 3 doesn’t like very much big open space so, unfortunately, it would be impossible to realize a quake wars: enemy territory clone. But with many corrections by the coders everything is possible! So I hope this project will become a new standard for open source games!
